National arts and cultural leader Danielle Brazell is passionate about the roles that arts, culture, and creativity play in advancing civic belonging, equity, economic prosperity, and social connectedness. She was appointed Executive Director of the California Arts Council in December 2023 after serving as the General Manager for the City of Los Angeles Office of Cultural Affairs since 2014.
